Every time someone sees the Fight Bladder Cancer or #PeeAware logo, they are reminded that Early Diagnosis Saves Lives. By helping to get the #PeeAware campaign posters up in as many places as possible, you are the first link in that life-saving chain. Click here to download posters.
Thank you for helping us spread the word. By getting these posters displayed in local washrooms, you are helping people spot the signs of bladder cancer at the exact moment they need to see them.
Before you head out, make sure you’re familiar with the three core messages of the campaign:
Focus on high-traffic washrooms where people have a moment of privacy to "Look Down".
Gyms and Leisure Centres: Ideal for the "frequency" and "colour" messages, especially near water stations or spin studios.
Community Centres: Great for reaching a wide demographic of all ages.
Local Cafés or Libraries: Places where people feel comfortable and have the time to scan a QR code for more info.
Ask for the Manager, Facilities Coordinator, or Community Lead. Most local businesses are keen to support health awareness, especially for a campaign as direct as this one.
Keep it short, professional, and impact-led:
"Hi, I’m a supporter of the charity Fight Bladder Cancer. We’re running a national campaign called #PeeAware to help people spot the early signs of the disease. We have some professionally designed posters for washrooms that explain what to look for, like changes in pee colour or persistent UTIs. We know that early diagnosis saves lives. Would you be willing to display these in your customer toilets to help us raise awareness?"
"We don't have space for more posters." * Response: "These are designed specifically for the back of toilet doors or near sinks, where they don't take up 'prime' advertising space but reach people at the most relevant time."
"Is it too graphic?"
Response: "Not at all. The designs are clever and punchy, using relatable imagery like ice lollies or fire hydrants to keep the message approachable while remaining clinically accurate."
Eye Level: Ensure posters are placed at eye level on the back of cubicle doors.
Near Sinks: A great secondary spot for the "Look Down" message.
QR Code Accessibility: Make sure the posters aren't obscured so people can easily scan the code to find out more.
Posters currently available in English and Welsh, as 300dpi pngs and pdfs (with and without printers marks)
