Most of us don't like to talk about what happens in the bathroom. We’re here to change that. Being #PeeAware means knowing what’s normal for you, and knowing when to take action.
The Facts:
If your pee was red, pink, orange, or brown, it’s a sign that something has changed. It might have happened just once, or it might be happening every time. Either way, it needs a professional look.
Why it matters:
Blood in your pee (haematuria) is the most common symptom of bladder cancer. It isn't always painful, and it can come and go, but it is never something to "wait and see" about.
Your Next Steps:
Call your GP practice today and ask for an urgent appointment.
Call 111 if you can't get through to your surgery.
Tell them clearly:
"I have noticed blood in my urine, and I am worried it could be bladder cancer."
